Welcome!

My name is Angela Abbey, thank you for visiting my website. I’m a seasoned massage therapist and health educator in the field of sports therapy, massage & bodywork.

My passion for massage began when I was first introduced to it as an athlete myself 9+ years ago as a Marathon and Ultra Runner. I found that through my own experience, massage was important to help with my performance maintenance, rehabilitation and injury recovery from overworked muscles, to increase relaxation to improve my sleeping patterns and overall better health so I felt refreshed, recharged and ready to perform at my peak performance.

Was lucky enough to be coach for the San Francisco Marathon training program, taking people new to running to completing their first marathon. After experiencing a painful bout with Planter Fasciitis know first hand how important it is to receive bodywork on a consistent bases.

Throughout my love of sports and wanting to give back, I attended the National Holistic Institute in Emeryville, California where I was trained and obtained my massage and health educator certification in 2014 in the following massage modalities Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point therapy in addition to providing relaxation and stress management therapies.

Currently working with Cheryl Brassfield of Angel's Touch Skin Care in Pleasant Hill,  California.

Look forward to our next session,

Angela
